Eastside Human Services - Meeting for DHS Clients

DHS is hosting a special meeting for DHS clients regarding the future relocation of the eastside DHS facility to a site located near 38th and Steele ( adjacent to Bruce Randolph Middle School), and the how this will affect client services. This meeting will inform clients services to be provided at the new facility, including additional services that may be offered at the new facility. An overview of the relocation timeframe will also be provided.

Renovation Celebration – Hampden Branch Library

After a period of closure during renovation work, the Hampden Branch Library has reopened. Neighbors, area business persons, and the public are invited to celebrate the improvements to the Hampden Branch Library at a special event on Tuesday, December 1. The event will begin with remarks by City Librarian Shirley Amore, Councilwoman Lehmann, and Mayor Hickenlooper, followed by family-friendly entertainment, and light refreshments. Renovations and upgrades to the library were made possible by funding from the Better Denver Bond Program.

Babi Yar Park - Public Meeting

The Open House provides an opportunity for pubic and neighborhood input on preferences and priorities for future improvements to Babi Yar Park. The scope of the project improvements includes drainageway improvements; completion of Yale Streetscape; restoration of Star of David Path and the Grove of Remembrance. The improvements are funded by the Better Denver Bond approved by Denver voters in 2007 and the Urban Drainage And Flood Control District.

La Alma Pool & Pool House – Public Meeting
