The Aid
to the Needy Disabled Program (AND) has two different catagories
of assistance. There are several requirements, which are universal to all
categories of assistance. These are:
Residency:
Establish
a Colorado address, apply in the county of
residence and there is no duration requirement.
Citizenship:
Born in
the United States, a naturalized citizen or a legal
alien admitted into the United States.

No Medicaid
Other Requirments:
Must be
certified by a Colorado licensed doctor as being disabled
for at least 6 months without work capacity.
AND with Supplemental Security Income
(SSI)
Age:
0 to 59
years of age
Benefit(s):
Medicaid
coverage
Other Requirments:
Must
receive SSI
