Student Internship Program
The Student Internship Program at the Denver Department of Human Services (DDHS) provides an outstanding educational environment to prepare students as future social workers in the field of Child Welfare.

Accredited by the Child Welfare League of America since 1943, our Child Welfare Division provides excellent opportunities to social work students who seek field placements at either the bachelor’s or master’s degree level. Student interns have opportunities to work in specialized areas of Child Welfare, including Child Protection and Youth Services. In addition, DDHS has a strong commitment to working with community partners and student interns have the opportunity to work with initiatives such as the Family to Family program and the Fatherhood Initiative project.

DDHS has a lot to offer student interns and we would love to have you join us.
