On April 21, 2003, the Denver Parks and Recreation Game Plan was adopted by City Council as a supplement to the City's Comprehensive Plan. Denver residents and the City worked for over two years to complete this first adopted strategic plan for Denver's parks, recreation facilities, and natural open spaces.
