Welcome to the newly redesigned Web site for the City and County of Denver.
We have worked hard to make this Web site easier to navigate and get business accomplished online. The redesign of the Web site is part of a broad strategic initiative by the City to make continuous improvements to customer service.
“The City’s Web site is integral to making government services easier to access,” said David Roberts, Denver’s Chief Services Officer. “These improvements represent our ongoing commitment to quality customer service and mark the beginning of the next chapter of many exciting new Web site services to come online in 2010.”
New features of the redesigned Web site include:
- An “Online Services Center” with prominent self-service and payment features.
- Access to 311 help throughout site.
- Free Google language translation services.
- Improved integration with social media.
- Improved e-mail and subscription updates.
- An “A to Z” listing of departments and services.
- Dynamic new look and feel.
- City meetings and events calendar with e-mail reminder service.
- Improved accessibility features such as text resizing.
Additional changes to the Web site will be introduced in 2010.
The Web site was redesigned and developed using existing technology and staff resource only. The project incorporated input from customers and agency representatives throughout the City. This is the first redesign of the City’s Web site since 2007.
