Candidates for Council District 1

ACCESO Spanish Language Voter Advisory Board seeks new members

Applications are now being taken for the advisory board involved in elections outreach to Spanish-speaking voters. Find more information and an application form here. Deadline to apply is March 29.

Quarterly public forum

Clerk and Recorder Stephanie O'Malley hosts a regular public forum that is televised on Denver's Channel 8, and these videos are also available on the Channel 8 website. In 2010, the forums will be held quarterly, on the 4th Tuesday of January, April, July and October, at 5:30 p.m. in the Parr-Widener Community Room at the City and County Building. The public is welcome, and encouraged to attend. Next meeting: April 27, 2010.

The Spanish Language Voting Advisory Committee (ACCESO) helps the Elections Division reach out to Denver's Spanish language community to provide information about and promote participation in the electoral process.
