Reminder - Back To Standard Time November 3, 2013

Reminder - Back To Standard Time November 3, 2013

It is time to “Fall Back” Sunday, November 3rd morning at 2 am, as Daylight Savings Time comes to an end. If you work overnight on Saturday, for example 11 pm – 7 am, you will physically work 9 hours due to the time change. Please speak with your supervisor about any possible schedule modifications for the week.

Working an hour less…

If it is determined that you must work an hour less throughout the week so that you do not earn any overtime or comp time, your shift over Sunday, November 3rd will determine which week to target. If you:
  • Begin your shift on Saturday, November 2nd, possible overtime/comp time is calculated the week of October 27th. You would need to work an hour less between 10/27/2013 – 11/2/2013.
  • Begin your shift on Sunday, November 3rd before 2 am, possible overtime/comp time is calculated the week of November 3rd. You would need to work an hour less between 11/3/2013 – 11/9/2013.
If you have questions or concerns, please speak with your supervisor.
