The Denver Office of Cultural Affairs will provide you extensive support in the coordination, planning and permitting of your special event. Our "Event Liaision" serves to assist and support Denver’s varied event community while providing the necessary required information and oversight from Denver’s City Departments.
Our Special Events Guide is designed to provide you with the necessary current information about permitting, planning and producing your event and should be used as a resource for you to add your own particular information.
Event Task Force
The Inter-agency Events Task Force reviews requests for city assistance. The Task Force may grant city services, as well as cash support for events with cash budgets under $50,000. More established events, or those with larger cash budgets, are eligible to apply only for in-kind support.
Requests must be made at least 60 days prior to the event. A complete copy of the Guidelines for City Support and an Application are available for you to download.

Promoting Your Event
One of the services of the Special Events Division is assistance with the promotion of the many outdoor festivals and special events that happen within the City & County of Denver. In order to obtain complete and accurate information for various City and community calendars, we have created an Event Promotion Form. Please fill out the form and fax it to:

* Remember to post your dates to as many event calendars as early as possible. Some publications seek information as much as 6 months prior to your event!
Your festival or event is part of attracting visitors to Denver. The City and Visit Denver want to assist you. Submit your information and be listed on Denver’s comprehensive entertainment and event website.
