With focus on neighborhoods, spending plan will help Denver become City of Opportunity for all

Denver – Mayor Michael B. Hancock submitted his 2015 budget proposal to City Council today, a plan that will create opportunity in every neighborhood and allow the city to meet the demands of a booming population, vibrant economy and increased development.

Denver—Deputy Assessor Keith Erffmeyer was named this week Denver’s next Assessor. Erffmeyer, who had been serving as Acting Assessor since the retirement of Paul Jacobs in March, began his career with the city in 1994 in the Assessor’s Office and rose to become the city’s newest Assessor.

Denver – The City and County of Denver announced this morning that the sale period for its recently announced Denver Mini-Bonds is now closed due to strong demand. These unique investments were made possible by voter approval of the 2007 Better Denver Bond Program and were offered only to Colorado state residents.
