Investigation Unit
The Investigation Unit has been in existence and has operated continuously and successfully since 1950. It was originally established to assist in locating absent parents and referring AFDC recipients to the proper court for securing support orders or filing non-support petitions. This agency was one of the first agencies in the United States to use investigators to assist departmental staff in determining eligibility and identifying violations of public assistance programs.
This unit is comprised of five investigators and one Administrative Support Assistant. |
