Required: A license is required for person operating or managing a permanent building, place, premise, or structure, whether public or private, where body art procedures are performed. A license is also required for any person operating a motor vehicle where body art procedures are performed. Body art is defined as the practice of physical body adornment by establishments and artists utilizing, but not limited to, the techniques of body piercing and tattooing. Ear piercing is not included. A permit is required for any booth, building, room, shop, store, structure of portion thereof where body art procedures are temporarily performed during a trade show or special event of less than 14 days.
