Directions:  The Excise and Licenses office is located on the 2nd floor  (Room 2.H.9) in the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building which is located
on the corner of 14th and Bannock Streets.  The office is just north of the City and County Building and north of Civic Center Park at Colfax Avenue. Office hours are: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

It shall be unlawful for any person, without obtaining a license therefor from the director of excise and licenses, to engage in the business of operating a dry cleaning establishment.

In addition to the requirements of chapter 32, the application for a license under this division shall contain other information required by the director of excise and licenses in respect to the undertaking proposed to be conducted under the terms of the license and the facilities and equipment of the establishment for which a license is sought.

Application and license fees under this division are prescribed below.

The director of excise and licenses shall submit all applications for licenses under the terms of this section to the manager of environmental health who shall inspect or cause to be inspected the establishment of the applicant with regard to the provisions of this section relative to construction, equipment, cleanliness and sanitary facilities. The manager shall return the application to the director of excise and licenses with endorsement of approval or disapproval, and the director shall issue or deny the license.
