 Valet Location Minimize

Required:
A valet location license is required for parking lot(s) or other places where the valet or valet attendants park one or more valet customers' vehicles until the vehicle is retrieved by a valet operator, valet attendant, or the valet customer.
 
Any person, or entity, including the valet client business itself, who meets all of the following requirements may obtain or renew a valet location license:
   a.  The applicant completes and signs an application of forms prescribed by the director.
   b.  The application and license fees are paid.
   c.  The applicant holds a valid valet operator license.
   d.  If the applicant is not the valet client business itself, the applicant submits written proof that the applicant has been hired by the valet business to perform services as a valet operator at the specific location.
   e.  The applicant obtains approval from the city traffic engineer of a valet parking plan for the valet client business as provided in this article.
