Required: A license is required for any person or business offering services whereby vehicles are immobilized by installing on or attaching to such vehicles devices designed to restrict the normal movement of such vehicles or by other means designed for this purpose. Various restrictions on the operation of such a business are contained in Denver Revised Municipal Code Sec. 55-297.
A non-resident of Denver must state the name and address of a local representative inside the city limits whom the applicant has appointed and upon whom services can be had under the municipal code. A $1,000 surety bond is required.
