Well-run hotels and restaurants are important to Denver – for job creation, for general fund tax revenue, and for a vibrant, enjoyable community. Liquor law is a matter of state control. Denver’s Department of Excise and License regulates and enforces state law. Licenses are granted based on the needs and desires of the neighborhood, in a ten block radius surrounding the license location.

 

Want to Know How Many Liquor Licenses There Are in Your Neighborhood?

 

To view a list of liquor licenses in your area, follow these instructions:

1. Go to the home-page of www.denvergov.org.
2. Go to the bottom left corner and click Denver Maps.
3. Click More Maps.
4. Click Government.
5. Click Denver Liquor Licenses.
6. Put in any address you are interested in and it will give you a map and a list of all liquor licenses within a ½ mile radius.
