Most violations are corrected voluntarily within 10 to 30 days. If you would like to check on the status of your complaint, our telephone staff asks that you wait five business days after advising us of the problem. This will give our field inspection staff the opportunity to investigate your complaint, and to initiate action to correct any violations found.
