Emergency Vehicle Inspection
License applications for emergency medical companies and vehicles are processed through the Department of Environmental Health.
The
City & County of Denver has an agreement with four metro area
counties that streamlines the field inspection process. Requests for
inspection coincide with your annual license application submittal. All
requests for inspections are made through the multi-county office in
Jefferson County 303-271-5716.
Once Denver has processed and approved the completed application and fees the multi-county office is contacted to verify that the field inspection can occur.
Upon
completion of the vehicle inspection the multi-county office verifies
with each county that the vehicles have been inspected. When Denver
receives this notice the application and fees are sent to the
Department of Excise and Licensing for final processing of the licenses.
New vehicles added to a fleet must also be licensed and inspected prior to dispatch of vehicle.
