Denver Healthy People 2010
Park Hill Thriving Communities!

Park Hill Thriving Communities is part of the City of Denver's Healthy People 2010 Program. After six months of planning, Kaiser Permanente awarded Park Hill Thriving Communities full funding in early 2006 to support active living and healthy eating via community-based programs, environmental changes, and policy changes. The goals of this three-year initiative are to eliminate health disparities and to increase active living and healthy eating among all Park Hill residents.

Park Hill Thriving Communities Stakeholders and Partners work together to meet community needs and desires. Partner organizations offer support and strategies for Park Hill residents and organizations to positively affect individual and community health.

The Vision for Park Hill Thriving Communities is a graphic overview of key programs, environmental issues, and policy issues identified by residents, stakeholders and partners during the planning process.

The Park Hill Action Plan describes programs, environmental and policy priorities, and offers a way for Park Hill residents and organizations to get involved.
