 Elyria Swansea Minimize

The first  public workshop for the Elyria/Swansea neighborhood plan was held on Saturday, November 3, 2007.  Over forty neighborhood residents met to discuss their hopes for the future of the neighborhood.  In addition, between Novemeber 2007 and March 2008, the City's planning team has also met with the Elyria Swansea Globeville Business Association, property owners and business operators in the eastern portion of the study area, and young people in the neighborhood to solicit their input as well. 

The planning team is curently reviewing the input received by neighborhood stakeholders and evaluating some technical issues, including recent changes to the FasTracks corridors slated to serve the neighborhood.  (Click here to read RTD's message to East Corridor Stakeholders.  Click here for an update on the North Metro Corridor.)
 
We anticipate an additional round of public meetings to check back in with stakeholders in early summer to refine some preliminary concepts.
