
Beginning March 31, the Denver Municipal Animal Shelter will offer extended weekday evening hours to provide customers with additional time to visit the shelter during the week.
This change is just one of many Denver’s Animal Care & Control Division is undertaking to better meet the needs of its customers.
The new hours will be:
Shelter Hours:
Monday through Friday: 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
· Adoptions: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
· Adoptions: 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Animal Intake/Office hours:
Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed Sundays
The Denver Municipal Animal Shelter has more than 75 animals available for adoption, including dogs, cats, rabbits, ginny pigs, and other small animals.
