Adolescent Services
The Family and Children's Services division provides treatment, counseling and protective services to adolescent youth and sponsors diversion programs, intensive family treatment programs, juvenile delinquency programs, and independent living/emancipation programs.

The Family and Children's Services division provides abuse intervention services including one-on-one parenting, counseling for abuse or neglect, and other support services to keep children connected to their families if removed from the home.
Child Support Enforcement
The Denver County Child Support Division works hard to ensure that children receive the support they need by assisting with paternity identification, ordering child and medical support, and monitoring and enforcing court ordered support obligations.
Early Education and Health Care
Denver provides a wide range of early childhood education programs and services to income-eligible families including educational and developmental programs, free cultural programs, and health, medical, nutrition, and dental care services.
Early Intervention for Developmental Disabilities (Part C)
Under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), a wide range of Part C early intervention services are available to enhance the development of infants and toddlers who have, or are at risk for developmental delays.
Report Child Abuse or Neglect
The Denver Department of Human Services maintains a 24-hour, seven day per week child abuse hotline. Any person who believes a child may be at risk for maltreatment is encouraged to report the circumstances to 720.944.3000. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911.
