The Denver County Court currently has five full-time and eleven part-time, on-call Denver County Court Magistrate positions.

Magistrates must reside in Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, or Jefferson County and be licensed Colorado attorneys with a minimum of five years as licensed practicing attorneys. All positions have at-will status and will serve at the pleasure of the Presiding Judge for the Denver County Court.
