Remediation & Reimbursement information

 

The CCoD continues to manage and remediate legacy sites that have been impacted with petroleum hydrocarbons as a result of a leaking underground storage tanks (UST).  These sites, when eligible, are evaluated and remediated under the State of Colorado, Department of Labor and Employment, Division of Oil and Public Safety (OPS) program which allows owners of these sites to obtain reimbursement of costs that meet program requirements.  Currently, the City has four (4) sites that are active and/or being managed within the OPS reimbursement program.
