Residential Typologies - Neighborhood Contexts
Fall 2006 Community Work Sessions
In the fall of 2006, the Zoning Code Task Force sponsored a two part work session on Areas of Stability.
At the first work session, held October 4, 2006, participants were introduced to drafts of nine "residential typologies" that describe different development patterns found throughout the City. For more information on these residential typologies use the link at the left. Participants joined in breakout groups and reviewed one of the typologies and provided important feedbakck.
The second work session, held November 28, 2006, focused on refining the typologies. A range of infill and redevelopment options were presented in a series of survey sheets using photography, plans, and 3-D illustrations. For more information on the surveys, please use the "Residential Typologies" link at the left. Participants worked in teams to identify a range of what they believe to be appropriate development patterns.
