Preliminary Findings

Denver Public Works conducted a preliminary before (6/5/13) and after (11/13/13) study of the 15th Street Bikeway to understand how people are using the facility. The findings revealed that after the Bikeway was installed, the number of bicyclists on the corridor was slightly higher, and many more people were using the left side of 15th than before it was installed. Also, the number of bicyclists on the sidewalk was reduced by 61% after the Bikeway was installed.
