From block parties to neighborhood clean-ups, safety forums to ice cream socials, Denver Days has it all!

Haven’t heard of Denver Days, let’s talk about.

Denver Days are nine days in August where residents of Denver celebrate our great city in their own unique ways.  To facilitate these activities,  the City of Denver has waived permitting fees for street closures and parks.  Additionally, the city is hosting a webpage and social media sites to promote events citywide.

The inaugural Denver Days will take place from August 3, 2013 to August 9, 2013.  City Councilmembers, the Mayor, and Mayoral Appointees will be attending events throughout the city – so  look for these officials in your neighborhood!

Check out the interactive map to see what events are taking place near you, including Council sponsored events.

Also, click here to read the ordinance City Council passed in early July 2013, officially designating the first Saturday of every August as “Denver Day.”  City Council also adopted a proclamation on July 29, 2013, celebrating the inaugural “Denver Days.”

So… What Are You Doing For Denver Days?
