I am sure many you have never heard of Doors Open Denver, but this fantastic two-day event take place this Saturday April 12th and Sunday April 13th.
This year’s theme is Celebrating Neighborhood Architecture. There will be 61 buildings open to the public spanning 12 Denver neighborhoods. Most buildings will be open from 10am to 4pm. In addition, Doors Open Denver has created a wide variety of self-guided biking, walking and parks tours.
The headquarters is located at 1801 California Street. There you can get the Event Guide, a map and sign-up for tours. Here is a quick Council Connection: Ean Tafoya, our Legislative Assistant, is a music and arts enthusiast and is planning to tour the Curious Theatre and the Paramount Theater, including the backstage areas.
