The City and County of Denver is the capital of and largest city in the State of Colorado and it has the 10th largest downtown in the United States. As the largest city in a 600 mile radius, Denver serves as a center for business, tourism, and sports and cultural events. It also serves as a gateway to the Rocky Mountains. Founded in 1858 as a mining town, Denver became a Home Rule City in 1902 by Article XX of the Constitution of the State of Colorado. The City is governed by the Mayor, the City Council, and other independent elected officers.
The City and County of Denver is requesting proposals from experienced individuals and/or government relations firms to provide state lobbying services for the City including, but not limited to, representation, information, professional advice, and support services.
Proposals are due on or before 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2012 and must be hand delivered or submitted through certified mail to:
