For committee meetings where proposed changes to the municipal code or policy are being discussed, a public comment period of 15 minutes is provided on the measure with 2 minutes per speaker and equal opportunity for opposing perspectives as determined by the Committee Chair.
*Individuals wishing to speak must sign up in the Council Conference Room (City & County Building, 1437 Bannock Street, Room 391) beginning 30 minutes prior to the Committee’s scheduled start time.
*Sign-up will end 15 minutes before the meeting begins.
*The order of speakers is determined by the Committee Chair.
For all other items scheduled for committee (i.e. contracts and presentations), public comment is at the discretion of the Chair. Members of the public may request from the Chair an opportunity to speak on these matters by contacting Legislative Services in advance at 720-337-2000, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org (please put ”Public Comment Request” in the subject line). Legislative Services will confirm receipt of all requests received by email, however, if a response is not received within 24 hours, please call Legislative Services at 720-337-2000.
