The Denver Civil Service Commission will hold a public hearing regarding proposed amendments to Commission Rule 3, Qualifications for Original Appointment.  Please view the following postings related to the Public Hearing and the proposed amendments to Rule 3:

If you wish to speak at the Public Hearing, regarding the proposed amendments to Rule 3, please call 720-913-3371 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, and no later than 4:30 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2014.

You may also contact the Commission by email at CSCHearing@denvergov.org, by the same deadline (provide your name and title, and the name of any organization or department that you are formally representing). Individual oral comment will be limited to five (5) minutes per speaker, with a maximum of 10 minutes per individual should any other speaker(s) relinquish their time.

Submission of written comment is encouraged. If you wish to file written comments you may file the comments electronically by email (as a Word or PDF attachment) at CSCHearing@denvergov.org no later than 4:30 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2014.

The public hearing on proposed amendments to Commission Rule 3 will be held, as noted above, in advance of a scheduled Civil Service Commission meeting on December 18, 2014. The Commission’s regular meeting will begin following the close of the public hearing.


Authority for rule making is provided by City and County of Denver Charter § 9.3.4 and Commission Rule 2 § 4(A).
