Currently, all testing appointments are filled. "Walk-In" registration encouraged.
  • Immediately after submitting your application, you will be prompted to schedule a date for your testing.
  • If all testing appointments are filled, you will be able to register as a "Walk-In".

Were you a "no show" for a previous Police Officer or Firefighter Written Test?

No-show Policy for Written Test Appointment: Applicants who fail to show for any scheduled written test appointment or who do not cancel their appointment in advance of their scheduled testing date and time, are assessed a $25.00 cancellation fee and are prohibited from reapplying or retesting until the fee is paid.

If you were a past "no show" the Commission strongly urges you to pay your fee as soon as possible to avoid any unnecessary delays in the application process. The fee payment must be in the form of a personal check, cashier’s check or money order. Cash will not be accepted.

With the $25.00 fee, applicants must include their full legal name, the last four digits of their Social Security number, a day time phone number and must identify the test that was missed.

Fee payments should be made payable to Treasurer - City & County of Denver and sent or paid in person to the following address:
