(Denver) – Denver voters will have the convenience of being able to drop-off their mail ballots for the November 3, 2009 election at a drive-through drop-off lane in front of the Denver Elections Division starting Monday, October 26.
The Elections Division is located at 3888 E. Mexico Ave. The drive-through lane will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, October 26 through Saturday, October 31 and again on Monday, November 2. On Election Day, the drive-through will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The drive-through lane is accessible from both eastbound and westbound East Mexico Avenue and is staffed by sworn election judges and guarded by a uniformed Denver Police officer at all times.
The Elections Division recently mailed 336,073 ballots to voters and wants to maximize the opportunity for voters to return them.
Mail-in ballots may also be dropped off inside the atrium of the Wellington Webb building at 201 West Colfax Avenue during the same days and hours.
