The City and County of Denver is seeking a design engineering firm to prepare final design of a 12’ wide pedestrian multi-use path along Inca Street from the Inca Street Pedestrian Bridge located at 38th Avenue north to 45th Avenue.  This design will incorporate connectivity to the future pedestrian bridge proposed for the RTD Light Rail Station located at 41st Avenue and Fox Street.  The design will also need to prepare drainage designs that facilitate the drainage structures already in place.  Project elements include concrete sidewalk, concrete curb & gutter, asphalt paving, retaining walls, drainage utilities, water quality features, street lighting, and sidewalk amenities.

This RFP is for Pre-Construction and CM/GC Services related to the design and packaging of two projects along the South Platte River. The work includes bank regrading and stabilization, native re-vegetation, habitat creation, construction of in-river structures and concrete boat launch/fishing jetties within and along the River.  Other work includes removal and disposal of asbestos contaminated soils, construction of 2.4 miles of regional trail and construction of environmental education playscapes.

The contractor shall install End of Road Barricades with either contractor supplied or city supplied Type III 10 foot long Hollow Plastic Panels, and end of road markers with complete posts, supports, fittings and concrete bases, where required in accordance with the City and County of Denver Traffic Standard Drawings as well as the State of Colorado Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction 2011 Edition (Green Book).

Click on the project you are interested in, scroll to and click on the “Digital Download” link which will direct you to the QuestCDN website to view the plans and specifications at no charge.  A fee of $25 is required to download the bid documents, plans and specifications.

Q:  I am interested in submitting a bid on a project that has a W/WBE, SBE or DBE goal assigned to it.  Where can I find certified firms?

Q:
Are pre-bid meetings mandatory?
A:  It can vary from project to project; refer to the Advertisement for Pre-Bid specifics.

Q:
  Where can I find a list of prime contractors or consultants that may be bidding or proposing on a project?
A:  All Public Works projects are advertised on www.work4denver.com, the “Digital Download” link in the advertisement will take you to QuestCDN where you can view the list of plan holders who have registered with their contact information.

Q: If I am unable to attend a bid opening where can I obtain information regarding bids that were submitted?
A: Bid summaries are generally posted within two (2) business days of the advertised bid opening

When will a bid tabulation be available for a previously bid project?
A:  Bid tabulations are posted once the City has received a signed contract from the apparent low bidder. Bid tabulations are not posted if it was a lump sum bid.  For those, refer to the Bid Summary.
