Hampden Heights Storm Sewer Improvements-Phase II
Parsons Environment & Infrastructure Inc. (Parsons) is the prime contractor for the Public Works Integrated Construction Program (PWIC), OC-82147, with the City and County of Denver (City) to manage multiple general public works projects.

Parsons is requesting competitive proposals for the purpose of selecting a qualified firm(s) to complete construction of the Hampden Heights Storm Sewer Improvements-Phase II in accordance with approved construction drawings and technical specifications.  The work includes installation of 66” and 78” Centrifugally Cast Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer Mortar Pipe or equivalent capacity Reinforced Concrete Box or Reinforced Concrete Pipe in City Right- of-Way Property.  The outfall of this system is within the Cherry Creek 100-year Floodplain.   The existing parking lot surface disturbed as part of the pipe installation shall be replaced with asphalt millings from the project.   Clean acceptable excavated material shall remain on site for a future project.  All work must be conducted in accordance with all local, state, and federal requirements and permits.

Important Note:   The plans do not currently reflect the ultimate outfall structure.  The included outfall design is an example of an existing outfall to use as a template for bidding and is for information only.
Construction is anticipated to start as soon as a successful bidder is selected.

Documents Available:   A plan-holders list, as well as drawings, specifications and the bid schedule are available beginning Tuesday, July 2, 2013 by contacting Belinda Jenkins at Parsons at 303-831-8100.

Pre-Bid Meeting: Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on  Friday, July 12th at 9:00 AM.  
The RFP will include information on the location; therefore Bidders must have an RFP package prior to the meeting. 

Proposals Due: Proposals in response to this RFP will be due no later than 12:00 p.m., local time Tuesday, July 23, 2013 and must be submitted to Belinda Jenkins, Administrative Manager at 1776 Lincoln St., Suite 600, Denver, CO 80203.

Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Participation: The minimum M/WBE goal for this project is 14%.   Subcontractors and suppliers certified under the City’s M/WBE program are encouraged to participate.
