The work contemplated within this contract shall generally consist of all work, including labor, materials, supplies and equipment, necessary to satisfactorily complete the installation of pavement markings within the City and County of Denver’s Public Right-Of-Way.  The City anticipates the typical Project Work may include:  removal and installation of bike lanes, bicycle symbols, decorative bicycle symbols and buffer areas, pre-fabricated curbs and bollards for protected bikeways, crosswalk markings and long line markings on collector and arterial roadways.  Each of these projects shall be separately scoped, priced, authorized, and completed under the direct oversight of the Transportation Division of Public Works.  The contractor selected shall have all necessary resources available, on an as needed base, to complete each Project when directed by the Division during the three (3) year term of this contract.

Install decorative light poles at various intersections along the Colfax Business Improvement District (CBID) - Grant St. to Josephine St.  Lights, decorative light poles and helical (screw-in) foundations have been purchased by the City and will be available for pick-up by the contractor, upon issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed.

Denver Parks and Recreation will be constructing a seven acre mountain bike skills park and loop trail within Ruby Hill Park.  This skills park and loop trail will feature a series of terrain features specifically designed to promote a progressive riding and learning experience for novice riders up through expert riders.  The scope of work will include building highly specialized trails and riding features, jumps, pump tracks, drop zones, and custom rock features for developing riding skills in the bike park and along the loop trail.  The work will also consist of general grading for the site and remediation of hazardous soils known to be located within Ruby Hill Park.  The existing irrigation system within the bike park will need to be revised to accommodate the bike park. There will be landscape renovation work which will consist of native seeding within the bike park, tree planting, and fence installation.  The work will also require a two year maintenance period for all the landscape and irrigation within the bike park area.
