Request for Qualifications for High Street Outfall and 40th Avenue Storm System Ph.I Tunneling and Permeation Grouting Qualifications
General Statement of Work
This RFQ is to identify a qualified contractor list for the High Street Outfall and 40th Avenue Storm System Phase I storm project. The project consists of 400’ dual bore of 93” storm pipe, 160’ of open-cut 8’ by 12’ box culvert, and 2 large cast-in-place transition structures. The project will be crossing a Union Pacific Railroad yard and approximately 16 separate sets of railroad tracks from the intersection of Blake Street and 40th Avenue to Wynkoop and 40th Street. The bored storm pipes will also have permeation grouting prior to boring to minimize the risk of the tracks settling. The depth of the bored pipe will range from 10 to 16 feet deep. The soil conditions are described in the attached Geotechnical Data Report and Geotechnical Baseline Report. This project is part of basin 4500-01 (City Park) in the Denver Storm Drainage Masterplan. It is also a part of the High Street System described in the masterplan.
