General Statement of Work
The City and County of Denver is seeking an engineering team that will develop timing plans for traffic signal retiming in order to optimize travel time for vehicles while updating timing for slower pedestrian crossing speeds and updated vehicular clearances. This project is for signal retiming of 225 traffic signals over two years, 2013 and 2014. Areas included are South of Downtown (bounded by 12th Ave, Lincoln St, I-25, Kalamath St), East of Downtown (bounded by Park Ave West, 18th Ave, Gaylord St, 13th Ave, Downing St, 6th Ave, Grant St), and includes the following corridors: Evans Ave, 1st Ave/University (Cherry Creek Area), Hampden Ave.

A Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. local time, March 7, 2013, in Conference Room 4.G.2, Webb Building, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO 80202. Interested firms are encouraged to attend. Proposers are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.
Printed Responses are due March 26, 2013, no later than 10:00 a.m. local time, delivered to Public Works Finance and Administration, Attn: Debby Gibson, 201 W. Colfax, Ste. 614, Denver, CO 80202.
The Project goal of 10% Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation must be met with as set forth in 49 CFR Part 26. For compliance with good faith effort requirements, as set forth in Part 26, the DBE solicitation level required for this project is 100% of the City and Denver’s certified DBEs and 100% of the State of Colorado’s Department of Transportation (CDOT’s) certified DBE’s
