Public Safety

The men and women of our police and fire departments work hard every day to keep our city safe. The Better Denver Bond Program is improving our public safety infrastructure and funding several essential projects that will help our police and fire services to be even more effective. Ballot measure 1I allocates over $65.1 million for public safety improvements including renovations of existing fire stations, a new fire station at Lowry, a state-of-the-art police crime laboratory, and a new police firing range and traffic operations facility.
