Water main and service line replacement project on Holly Street and on 3rd Avenue

Denver Water has scheduled a water main and service line replacement project to begin on Monday, July 9 on Holly Street from 3rd Avenue to 4th Avenue and on 3rd Avenue from Holly Street to Ivanhoe Street. A letter has been distributed by Denver Water to all residents in the project area informing them of the upcoming projects. Lime to remove scooters temporarily from Denver

After about three weeks on Denver’s streets, Lime’s scooters will be removed from the city for the next two weeks, the company announced Monday. The announcement comes two days after Denver Public Works said it was initiating a new pilot program for “dockless mobility technology” to keep the city’s streets and sidewalks clear but allow riders to take advantage of dockless forms of transportation.

There’s legal help on the way for Denverites facing eviction

n eviction legal defense pilot program opened its doors Wednesday, offering free aid to those who have been served a notice or received court papers. The Colorado Legal Services, which coordinates the program, said it will provide legal services to residents earning up to 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level based on their family size, as well as elders of any income.

Denver announces dockless scooter pilot program

The program, which the city said includes but it is not limited to dockless bikes and electric scooters, would allow for residents to enjoy their rides “in a way that respects our public spaces and meets Denver’s mobility goals, as outlined in the city’s Mobility Action Plan.”
