Updated Required Career Service Training

Effective May 17, 2018, Career Service Rule 5 has been updated to reflect all required training for newly hired employees and new managers. The management track will be required for any employee that promotes from an individual contributor role to management. The required training will now include:

  • Management training within 90 days of promoting into a management role
  • STARS, Workday and Performance Management training as part of probation, and Kronos timekeeping for management as part of probation
  • Additional training required by departments/agencies, Executive Orders and the Denver Revised Municipal Code is part of probationary training

Ride-sharing service Lyft on Wednesday said some of its Denver drivers made $40 million in the past two years by participating in Lyft’s two-year-old car rental program called Express Drive.
