Contract No. 201525095 Kennedy Ballpark Detention Pond

This project is located near Kennedy Ball Fields and Kennedy Golf Course in southeast Denver. This project will mitigate flooding by constructing an outfall pipeline system to redirect flood waters from the existing detention basin to Cherry Creek during a 100-year storm event. Construction items include: Open cut installation of the 72" RCP's; large manholes, large inlet/outlet structures and its appurtenances; grouted boulders at Cherry Creek; removal and restoration of Kennedy Golf Course improvements including landscaping, tee boxes, sand trap, sprinkler systems, golf cart paths; removal and replacement of a regional bike/pedestrian trail; removal and disposal of the flood control earthen berm.

Contract No. 201524769 2015 Intersection Safety/Traffic Civil Master On-Call

The 2015 Intersection Safety/Traffic Civil Master On-Call will be used to make improvements to roads and civil infrastructures on Denver streets. Range of work will include but not limited to ADA ramps, curb returns, curb and gutter, bulbouts/curb extensions, medians/bypass islands, and sidewalk. Also included are storm sewer upgrade/reconstruction and landscape restoration, as needed, to support safety and traffic signal projects. All work will be to the current Denver standards and the location of work will be throughout the entire City. Estimated quantities of work is for three years, and each individual work orders will be scoped, priced and authorized separately and all work will be supervised and directed by a Traffic Engineering project manager.

Contract No. 201523858 South Broadway Reconstruction, Arizona Avenue to Kentucky Avenue

This project reconstructs South Broadway from Arizona Avenue to Kentucky Avenue in concrete. The width of the roadway ranges from a four to eight lane section with turn lanes. A center median, and “bulbouts" or "curb extensions" are to be constructed near intersections. The existing span wire traffic signals are to be replaced by new mast arm traffic signals at Mississippi and Tennessee. Street lighting, pedestrian lighting, streetscaping, landscaping and irrigation is included. A 10 ft concrete multi-use sidewalk is to be placed on the east side of Broadway. Other concrete sidewalks within the project limits are a minimum of 8 feet wide. The existing 12 inch waterline and storm sewer facilities will be replaced. Mississippi is to be reconstructed to provide additional turn lanes. Mississippi is to be reconstructed in asphalt outside of the intersection with Broadway. The work on Mississippi includes the relocation of a portion of the 30 inch water conduit, and the reconstruction of the northern retaining wall.

Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) for On-Call Construction Services

The City and County of Denver Public Works Department is seeking General Contractors to provide On-call, as needed services performing construction work on municipal buildings, including remodeling, retrofitting, and renovation projects. The City anticipates awarding multiple contracts to multiple general contractors.
