The Department of Public Works, City and County of Denver, has issued a Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) for 2016 On-Call Professional Engineering Services for Capital Projects Management.

General Statement of Work: The Department of Public Works, Transportation Capital Projects Management group is soliciting Requests for Qualifications from Consultant Teams to provide comprehensive engineering services to support the various capital projects for the Engineering Division. It is also intended to supplement the City’s Design, Planning and/or Construction Engineering forces as needed. In this respect, the Consultant shall supply resources in sufficient strength to meet the requirements of the City in the technical areas referenced in the Scope of Work.

A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held at 201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO  80202, 10:00 a.m. local time, September 19, 2016, in the 1st floor conference room 1.B.6., Wellington E. Webb Building, 201 W Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO  80202. Interested firms are encouraged to attend. Firms are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.

Deadline to submit questions: September 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.

Minority and Women Business Enterprise Participation: The Project goal of 17% must be met with certified participants as set forth in Section 28-65, D.R.M.C. or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort under Section 28-62 D.R.M.C. For compliance with good faith requirements under Section 28-62(b), the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.

As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of Public Works reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, submittals.
