General Statement of Work: This RFQ is for CM/GC Services required to construct the Re-Imagine Play at Paco Sanchez Park, a new custom play experience. The redevelopment of Paco Sanchez Park is intended to create a multi-generational activity and play environment giving all users, from small children to older adults, the opportunity to remain active and enjoy a healthy lifestyle through Re-Imagine Play. The play environment in Paco Sanchez Park will provide critical infrastructure for physical activity to an underserved community.

The Construction goal of 21% Minority and Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Participation must be met with certified participants as set forth in Section 28-60(b).  The successful proposer must be prepared to submit a Compliance Plan after the conclusion of the solicitation process, as a component of CM/GC contract negotiations and award.

Prequalification Requirements: Each proposer must be pre-qualified in the Work Category of 2A – Buildings, with a Financial Limit of Three Million Dollars ($3,000,000). If not already prequalified, prime contractor must have submitted a prequalification application a minimum of ten (10) calendar days prior to the submittal due date.  Prequalification applications must be submitted to the Department of Public Works, Prequalification Section, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Dept. 614, Denver, Colorado 80202. Prevailing Wage: Contracts for construction, reconstruction, and remodeling are subject to the City prevailing wage rate requirements established pursuant to Section 20-76, D.R.M.C.

As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of Public Works reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, submittals.
