The Department of Public Works, City and County of Denver, has issued a Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) for professional services for Sheridan Sidewalks.
RFQ documents will be available for download at www.QuestCDN.com eBid Document No. 4670951 at the cost of $10.00.
General Statement of Work: The Project will construct detached sidewalks on the east side of Sheridan Boulevard (5' landscaping and 5' walk) from W. 8th Avenue to W. 10th Avenue and from just north of Colfax to W. 17th Avenue. The project will include retaining walls, new curb ramps, landscape restoration, fence replacement, curb and gutter, access control, and drainage improvements. A minimum of 20 bike spaces will be provided within the immediate project area.
A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held at 201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80202, 9:00 a.m. local time, September 21, 2016, in the 4th floor conference room 4.I.4., Wellington E. Webb Building, 201 W Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO 80202. Interested firms are encouraged to attend. Firms are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation: The Project goal of 17% Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation must be met with as set forth in 49 CFR Part 26. For compliance with good faith effort requirements, as set forth in Part 26, the DBE solicitation level required for this project is 100% of the City and Denver’s certified DBEs and 100% of the State of Colorado’s Department of Transportation (CDOT’s) certified DBE’s.
As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of Public Works reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, submittals.
