Contract 201843269 13th & Delaware Sanitary Sewer

This project will relieve an existing 12" sanitary sewer in the alley north of W 12th Ave and between Bannock and Cherokee Streets. This new pipe will intercept flows at this alley and direct them west in 12th Ave to Delaware St and tie into an existing 18 inch sanitary sewer at 13th Ave.

RFQ: Colorado Convention Center Expansion Design/Build Services

The City and County of Denver Public Works Department is soliciting Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from General Contractors to provide Design Builder Services for the Colorado Convention Center Expansion Project. The Project includes design, construction, and construction administration services for approximately 250,000 sq. ft. of vertical expansion, renovation of approximately 120,000 sq. ft. of lobby space, new vertical conveyances and required code and life safety upgrades. Scope of services includes completion of schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction, and construction administration through project completion.

Contract 201843190 General Sanitary - Globeville Improvements

A neighborhood lining program to rehabilitate deteriorated clay sanitary sewer pipes throughout the neighborhood with a pipeliner. This method of rehabilitation requires no excavation which reduces cost and impacts to the community. This project location is in the Globeville neighborhood.

RFP: Globeville Landing Phase 1B - Integrated Construction

This work order is within the area of the North Denver Cornerstone Collaborative (NDCC), a coordinated effort created by Mayor Michael B. Hancock to strategically align planning among converging projects in Denver’s Globeville, Elyria, Swansea and River North neighborhoods and to help establish Brighton Boulevard as a gateway to Denver. The Globeville Landing Outfall (GLO) Project, divided into phases, will reconstruct the Globeville Landing Park combined with a new storm water open channel connecting to the South Platte River and include new storm water infrastructure along Brighton Boulevard and a portion of 40th Street. GLO is a part of the Platte to Park Hill program. The overall project is essential to improving the flood protection in the area in the Platte to Park Hill Stormwater Systems plan and will receive storm water from the other project areas. The Phase IB project will specifically address the park enhancements and finishes within the Globeville Landing Park. This phase is located in a portion of Operable Unit 2 (OU 2) of the VB/I70 Superfund Site. The scope of the work includes construction elements such as hardscape plazas, picnic shelters, lawn/green space, and playground amenities. Of note, there is also included a design/build services request for a natural play area.

Contract 201843069 Red Rocks Electrical Improvements

This work consists of multiple lighting and electrical updates within Red Rocks Park and the Visitor's Center. It includes new street lighting along multiple roadways and the Upper South Parking Lot within Red Rocks Park as well as trail lighting and a new backup generator at the Visitor's Center.

RFQ: NWC Stockyards

The City and County of Denver (“CCD”) seeks Architectural and Engineering Professional Services for the development of a 20-acre multi-purpose concrete surface area for use as Stockyards during the annual Stock Show, as well as supporting other events (fairgrounds, car/RV/boat shows, monster trucks, BMX racing, concert venue, etc.) at other times throughout the year. Includes water, power and lighting distribution throughout the site, catwalks, and provision of temporary penning materials. Also includes the 35,000-40,000 SF Stockyards Event Center, consisting of a 1,000-seat show arena and a 600-seat auction hall with supporting office spaces and other gathering spaces for entertainment and educational purposes.

RFP: 2018 SBE On-Call Construction

The City and County of Denver (City) is soliciting Requests for Proposals from multiple qualified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) certified firms for on-call construction services contracts to establish a new group of qualified SBE on-call general contractors to respond to proposal requests with bidding and execution of construction work on municipal building projects. Scopes may consist of a roof replacement, mechanical upgrades (HVAC controls), lighting retrofit, concrete/asphalt replacement, or other. On-call SBE general contractors will be requested to mini bid projects against other on-call SBE General Contractors to ensure the City is receiving the best value. The on-call SBE construction services contracts will perform work via a work order (project) per project.

Contract 201842703 2018 Sanitary Lining

The major item of work to be completed under this project is the rehabilitation of approximately 98,888 linear feet of sanitary sewer mains of various diameters with structural deterioration problems in Wastewater District 1 of the City of Denver, using Wastewater Management Division approved cured-in-place pipe method of construction. This project also includes Critical Lining bid items for 8" to 36" diameter pipes.

RFQ: 41st and Fox Next Steps Study

The City is seeking a multidisciplinary team of planners, engineers and urban designers to complete the 41st and Fox Next Steps Study. The selected team will work with City departments and stakeholders to further analyze, refine, and design (concept level) the infrastructure projects necessary to realize the transit-oriented development vision for the area surrounding the 41st and Fox commuter rail station in Denver. The project will be led by Public Works in partnership with Community Planning and Development (CPD) and the North Denver Cornerstone Collaborative (NDCC).
