The Department of Public Works, City and County of Denver, has issued a Request for qualifications (the “RFQ”) for professional engineering design consultant(s) to assist with the professional design services necessary for the replacement of the 14th Ave Bridge over Cherry Creek and Cherry Creek Trail. A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held 10:00 a.m., January 18, 2018, in Conference Room 4.F.6. - Webb Building, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO  80202. Interested firms are encouraged to attend. Proposers are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.

General Statement of Work: The City and County of Denver is seeking a design engineering team for professional services necessary to provide full design, specifications, cost estimates, and construction bid documents for the replacement of the 14th Ave Bridge over Cherry Creek and Cherry Creek Trail. Services include, but are not limited to, bridge engineering, surveying, hydraulic analysis, project management, geotechnical investigations, evaluation of environmental impacts, roadway and trail design and detours, utility coordination, and public involvement. Support services during construction may be added once the construction documents are complete. 

Minority and Women Business Enterprise Participation:  The project goal of 32% must be met with certified participants as set forth in Section 28-65, D.R.M.C. or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort under Section 28-62 D.R.M.C.  For compliance with good faith requirements under Section 28-62(b), the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.

General:  As the City’s best interests may appear, the Manager of Public Works reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, proposals.
