Overnight Ramp & Lane Closures Scheduled on I-25 From CO to Evans

TRAFFIC ADVISORY FROM DENVER PUBLIC WORKS
Overnight Ramp and Lane Closures Scheduled on I-25 From Colorado Blvd. to Evans Ave. for Bridge Maintenance

Beginning Oct. 31, Denver Public Works will require some overnight ramp and lane closures on I-25 between Colorado Boulevard and Evans Avenue for maintenance of the Colorado Center Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge. Crews are expected to begin in the southbound lanes of I-25 and gradually move into the northbound lanes before the job is completed next week.

Below is the schedule, weather permitting:

Monday, October 31 – Thursday, November 3

  • 7:00pm: Evans off-ramp to close
  • 9:00pm: Lane closures and Colorado on-ramp closure begins
  • 5:30am: Lane and ramps closed will reopen to traffic

Sunday, November 6 -  Thursday, November 10

  • 7:00pm: Evans off-ramp to close
  • 9:00pm: Lane closures and Colorado on-ramp closure begins
  • 5:30am: Lane and ramps closed will reopen to traffic

Detours for ramp closures:

  • Northbound I-25 exit ramp to Colorado Boulevard: Traffic will detour to the University Boulevard exit, where drivers can access southbound I-25 to reconnect with Colorado Boulevard.
  • Northbound I-25 on-ramp from Evans Avenue: Traffic will detour to westbound Evans Avenue to northbound Colorado Boulevard to reconnect with northbound I-25.
  • Southbound I-25 off-ramp to Evans Avenue: Traffic will detour south on I-25 to Yale Avenue to northbound I-25 to reconnect with Evans.

The public’s patience and cooperation during construction is greatly appreciated. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
