New zoning changes intended to encourage the creation of more affordable housing and more walkable, pedestrian-friendly design in the neighborhood surrounding the 38th and Blake RTD Station will go into effect this week, after City Council voted Monday to approve the proposal. Fine District 9 News - February Edition

We are a month into 2018 and we are off and running in the “FINE District 9”. I am excited this year to get to work and better serve the incredible residents of our district. Our office had a retreat a couple of weeks ago to get prepared for everything that is happening in 2018. It was a great opportunity to review 2017 and begin to dream about the possibilities for 2018. We took our dreams and transformed them into priorities. Fitzhugh Dodson said, “without goals and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination.” We are trying to build a vibrant and inclusive City for all where young people no matter their background have the ability to dream big and work on making them a reality. Below you will find our 2018 priorities for “FINE District 9” office.
