Denver, May 28, 2015 – The City and County of Denver has again been given a AAA rating from Standard and Poor’s (S&P), Fitch’s, and Moody’s for its long term general obligation bonds. The three ratings agencies gave Denver a AA+/Stable rating for their 2015A certificates of participation, a type of financing that allows cities to make lease payments to investors in order to finance certain capital projects.
