Project Summary (PDF - English/español)

In the summer of 2017, the City and County of Denver is kicking off a project to study and identify bicycle improvements on Martin Luther King Blvd and 31st Ave. These streets were identified as having a need based on Denver Moves Bicycles, Denver’s bicycle and multi-use network plan. The study will incorporate data and community input to design a separated bikeway where none currently exist on MLK Blvd between Elizabeth and Downing Streets and on 31st Ave between High and Columbine Streets. The study will be complete at the end of 2017 and installation of the bikeway is planned for 2018.

The project goals are bicycle mobility and safety. The bikeways will connect homes to parks, retail, churches, schools, downtown and other destinations, and will provide a link in the bicycle network.
